About Ron Heagy

Hi, I’m Ron Heagy. I broke my neck the day before my 18th birthday in a surfing accident. I am now a quadriplegic, paralyzed from the neck down. But I chose to Never Give Up. After receiving a masters degree by typing with a stick in my teeth, I am now an inspirational speaker, mouth painter, author, father, and founder of a special needs camp located in Oregon,

Family

I am so very proud of my daughters. They have kind hearts and enjoy dancing. They have grown up so fast. Gracie will be driving soon and Roni is about to graduate from college. We love traveling and I greatly enjoy exploring together with my girls. We are blessed by the opportunity to see and hear positive stories from around the world. Keep up with us by signing up for the blog.

Speaker and Author

As an author of two published books, “Life is An Attitude” and “Never Give Up”, Ron encourages his readers to be all that they can be. Living his own life message, using a stick in his teeth to type, he received his master’s degree in social work. He was awarded Disabled Oregonian of the Year. Ron captivates his audiences each time he shares his life-changing story. He touches hearts and inspires minds as he demonstrates the power of determination through his medical and financial challenges, artistic talents, educational successes, Social work and the blessings of family.

“I am a person who has faced significant challenges and emerged stronger and more determined than ever. My journey has been filled with obstacles and difficulties, but it has also been enriched by my artistic talent and my passion for helping others.

I have faced many challenges in my life, including a high-level quadriplegia, but I have never let my physical limitations define me. Instead, I have used my challenges as motivation to push myself to new heights. I have become a world-renowned mouth painter, using only my mouth and a brush to create detailed and breathtaking nature scenes. My artwork is a testament to my creativity, my resilience, and my unwavering spirit.

In addition to my artistic pursuits, I am deeply committed to making a positive impact on the world. I have founded a camp for kids with disabilities, to provide services to thousands of children. This camp is a place of safety, hope, and inspiration for young people who face challenges of their own. I am proud to have created this space, and I am grateful for the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others.

I am confident that my presentation will be uplifting and will bring a smile to your face. I hope that you will allow me the opportunity to share my story with you in person, to show you the true power of the human spirit and the transformative impact of art and compassion.”

Thank you for your consideration, and I look forward to speaking with you soon.

With an attitude of gratitude,
