Ron Heagy-Vibrant winter 2020
When I was a kid I looked forward to snow. I grew up in the snow, lots of it I was born in Ashland Wisconsin. When we moved to Oregon in 1968 there was a record amount of snow in Brownsville two feet to be exact. I thought to myself this is wonderful. Unfortunately it hasn’t snowed that much since then. The snow reminds me of my childhood the good memories, particular sledding, snowball fights, building a snowman and igloo caves. We would spend all day outside till our fingers went numb. My mom made us hot chocolate as we warned our Frozen cheeks, fingers and toes. We would tell our stories and adventures with great enthusiasm. I hope you enjoy this painting and May it remind you of a good time in the snow. Please let me know what you think! Look forward to hearing from you…
